Damaged Goods: My Journey

Damaged Goods: My Journey

This is Atara Estes' true crime and survival story exposing domestic violence and abuse. She survived being blindfolded, thrown into the trunk of a car, shot in the back, and left for dead by the hands of her daughter's father. This left Atara feeling helpless and hopeless to raise her daughters feeling traumatized and lost for a period of time. This horrific ordeal began to attack her mental health until she began to go on a much-needed journey to emotionally heal from her hurting heart. Atara shares it all from the abuse she experienced in her childhood to how she protects her children from becoming a victim. God spared Atara's life and it wasn't a mistake for her to live to share her testimony with anyone that will need it. She has taken her story to empower young adults and women so that they can learn to love themselves and live again too.
